I followed him into his room where my eyes beheld this imaginative vision.
Do you see a junky table or an afternoon of fun and games?
Knock down these...
With three shots from this...
And you might be lucky enough to win any one of these fabulous prizes!
Closer inspection will show that these are garbled marbles.
Next on the prize list...
Cards, a spinning top (that lights up!), and two racecars (slightly used).
If you happen to have mad shooting skillz like Noah, you have a shot at winning the GRAND PRIZE!
(The variety astounds me.)
I know you are wondering just how much all of this fun will cost you! What price must you pay to experience the excitement?!
I think it's a small price to pay. :)
And he assures me that "it is not a scam or a rip-off, mommy."
Would this face lie to you?
Would this face lie to you?
All the pennies he collects will go towards our church's penny drive. Austin and Noah have been saving up since the night of their defeat at the hands of the girls last year (the horror!).
So step right up!
Isn't he so fun AND sweet?
Much like his mother. *snort*

How imaginative and wonderful and sweet!! It made me think of the things my oldest son would do like this and it brought a tear to my eye. *sniffle* I wish my guys were little again, sometimes. :)
I wanted to tell you that I have an award for you on my blog. If you don't do awards, I understand, but wanted you to know I think you deserve one.
God bless you, my friend!!
Love ya - Julie
That's awesome! I wanna play!! Although I don't think my daughter would let me spare the penny-- she hasn't reached her one million mark yet... :)
Boys are great aren't they? My set up the same kind of things around the house with Legos. I dare not touch...
I love it! Sounds exactly like something my crew would do.
We will be on the next flight, back of pennies in hand. That is, if they let us on the plane! LOL
awe such the little entrepreneur :)
impressive...i want to know what did YOU win? :)
what an imagination! Tell him I hope he gets lots of pennies!
I love seeing the imaginations of our little ones. Bobo yesterday made pretty decorative stationary and sold two in a set for a penny. THe girl version of yours! ;-)
Cute! This reminds me of last weekend. My three made playdoh sculptures and then "sold" them for 2 pennies each--all to give to the missionaries. Kids are so sweet.
Thats awesome! I want to play.
So, did you join in the carnival??
What a great and inventive idea!
And he's not going to run off to Mexico and gamble the money away!
Ah, what a swell guy.
How smart and imaginative he is..That makes me what to play..I hope he gets lots of pennies..He deserves them..So cute..
Ummm....I LOVE THIS KID! And it reminds me of when we used to set up games in our room (Stephen and John's very ill-conceived "ride" called "Shark Attack" could have easily amputated a digit) Except we never had a good cause behind it...but I did once try to sell painted tree bark for a nickel a piece :)
Love you!
That's great! What an imagination AND he's doing it for a good cause.
This put a lump in my throat and melted my heart! How thoughtful and creative! You must be such a proud mama!
Still thinking of you and your dear friend Andrea and her family.
Much like his mother... that was the best part of the whole post! ;)
Love ya!
Oh he's a boy after my heart! Don't ya just want to hug and squeeze him all the live-long day?
I love this! It is totally the type of thing that Andrew would do. I was thinking the other day that I wished you lived closer, and then I thought that if things continue to get worse and Texas succeeds, we may become Texans. :-)

i love creative kids! my kids used to occasionally set up a "store" and try to sell their stuff to me (of course, they'd always want it back when the game was over). even w/in the last couple months, my 11-y/o made some cards and set up a "card store". i bought some, of course. i love it that noah's money-making venture was for charity!
my 14-y/o doesn't try to "sell" stuff anymore, but he still plays. he had a fit the other day when i tried to move his carefully-placed bionicles off his study desk. apparently they were serving some important purpose there, which escapes me at the moment.... some kids never grow up.
Oh I love this! I love when kids use their imaginations like that. So adorable. You can't beat the price either. I don't think I've ever seen a penny go so far! Sooooo, did you win the grand prize? What a great assortment too by the way. It reminds me of the time my childhood bf and I went around washing people's cars and then asking them to pay for it! Would you believe that most of them did? My mom made us return all the money we made of course and explained that it wasn't very 'neighborly' to provide a service without asking first and then expecting to be paid! Lol! Anyhoo, loved this post. Your boys are a real hoot!
I love it! Especially the line "this not a scam or a rip-off", haha! Adorable moment!
How sweet! My kids are always making little stores around the house with signs and price tags. I'd pay to play Noah's games!
it's totally a boy thing. i can totally see my boys doing the same exact thing. do you often talk with them about rip-offs and scams or something? ;)
