Tank (5) bounds into the bedroom. He excitedly tells his big brother (7):
You know what?! When I turn my head to the side like this (turns head), then my eyes stay turned to the side! And then when I turn it like this (turns head the other direction), my eyes are still on the side!!! I don't know why it does that!!!
They are both currently in a state of...weirdness. Yes, weirdness is a good word (and I'm sure it will be a lifelong state). But curious too. I haven't explained to them the why's of such an odd occurence. I don't know if I ever will either. It has been too fun watching them turn their heads to the side with their eyes staying focused on one position!
All morning long, tuuuuurn the head, looooook to the side, tuuuuuurn the head, looook to the side... :-)
Who needs TV or the zoo? I have my kids to entertain me!!! Oh, and they get that stuff from their dad's side of the family. hehehee...

He recently discovered that you can slosh water around in your stomach and that it will make the neatest sounds.
Oh...how sweet!! Amen, who needs to stick their kids in front of Blue's Clues, when they can entertain themselves!!
That is what is wrong with parents of little kids and little kids, they don't know how to entertain them without the aid of a tv!!
I know...lots of people like my horse posts, but I want to get the Homestead blog, b/c more people have horses over there and I need all the help I can get!!
Estrella does well soaking her foot and she does suburb on letting me get the bandage on...but I don't like playing vet!!
How old is Little Mia?? What kind of horse is she getting??

Okay, so its been a while since I've been here, and I just read your past posts. I LOVE the party post! Your mom is beautiful, and the outfits are great! Isn't it fun bringing a culture to America ? My husband keeps saying he is thrilled his world expanded when he married me. He means it. Most of the time. ;)
And guess what???At dinner today, he finally asked, just like out of the blue, "So how much do you think we could get for this house?" I almost jumped out of my seat with joy!!! I have been waitng for almost 4 years to hear him say that!!! Chloë (our daughter) is going to Texas for a month again. Lucky girl. I told her to scout out the area. lol. 'Cause you know, you can do that with a state the size of Texas. rofl.
Those boys of your are a hoot!! I love the wonder in children. I wish we could get away with some of the stuff they get away with. Such as crawling under the chair in the doctor's office when we are forced to wait for an hour. If I started doing that because I was bored, I think I would be taken away in a white van. Enjoy this time, its priceless and entirely too short.
